It measures domain literacy along with the complete picture of the candidate as a human. There is no exam in India till now that gives such extensive assessment and rating mechanism. Ans. PART A- Human Factor, gives picture of the whole personality of the individual. PART B, Knowledge Validation, measures the domain expertise, knowledge and take of the candidate towards the various aspects of life, precisely across the various subjects mentioned in the brochure.

Ans. D-ART score can give you upper hand to get the scholarships given by colleges. But it is entirely on the college if they want to give or not. DALHAM has nothing to do with offering scholarships right now.

Ans. The best way to prepare is to be well versed with all subjects learnt about through school, especially in classes 11 and 12. To be well versed with the structure and mechanism of testing, do take the mock papers available after registration. The syllabus may not be limited to book knowledge and thus it is best to be focused on external general knowledge as well.
Ans. You will have access to mock papers post registration inclusive of payment. If you are unable to access mock tests, it may be due to a payment or registration failure.

Ans. D-ART is an online test which will incorporate multiple choice, true-false, assertion reason and some open ended questions. However there is pen paper based written test for students opting for Design and Architecture as electives.
Ans. Both parts of the examination can be taken online. However, while PART A (Human Factor) can be taken online anytime within alloted days, PART B (Knowledge Validation) must be taken online while being present at the center alloted.
Ans. PART A, that is the Human Factor can be taken at home. However, PART B, that is Knowledge Validation must be taken online at the centre. It is a centre-based online test.
Ans. D-ART can be taken just once. However, D-ART, as an examination can be taken an indefinite number of times.

Ans. 1. Candidates appearing for Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2020 are eligible to appear for D-ART 2020.
2. Candidates appearing for Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2021 or later are not eligible to appear for D-ART 2020.
3. Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th/qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing D-ART-2020. This applies for IB and IGCSE curriculums as well.
4. All the candidates will be eligible to apply irrespective of their citizenship.
The number of attempts which a candidate can avail for D-ART is restricted to 5 attempts.
Ans. Exam date will be announced in the month of October. D-ART will happen only once in a year.
Ans. Black ball point pen and all the necessary stationary required for drawing in case you have chosen design and architecture as electives.
Ans. PART A contains 96 questions. PART B contains 200 questions.

Ans.The Human Factor must be takenout before Knowledge Validation. It is a prerequisite. If you do not take Human Factor, you can still give Knowledge Validation but your score will stand disqualified.
Ans. Ans. In PART A (Human Factor) - Section 1, 2 and 3 are 100 marks each adding up to 300. In PART B (Knowledge Validation), Section 1 is 2*100 marks, Section 2 is 2*50 marks and Section 3 is 2*50 marks adding up to 400.
Ans. The students can select up to 3 electives of their choice. If they choose three electives, after the end of the exam, student will be given three DALHAM Quotients. He can use the DQ to select the elective he wants to be part of the DALHAM Quotient. The other two electives can however also be used to apply to colleges of the relevant stream as well as for self-evaluation.
Ans. Star rating the a method of recognizing a DALHAM candidate. Each candidate will be star rated according the the marks obtained and competencies measured. The slabs will be predecided to categorize the candidate under each star.
Ans. The DALHAM Quotient is a figure that will be computed from both parts of the examination. Normalised marks will be used to obtain the quotient. DALHAM QUOTIENT = Marks Obtained after normalisation/Total Marks.
Ans. Maximum score is 700 marks.

Ans. Candidates appearing for D-ART must bring admit card and the valid identity proof to the examination hall. Entry is not allowed even if one of them is not available. Candidate should carry any ball point pen for the paper work. For candidates having design and architecture as elective, they must bring their own pencils, sketch pens, poster colors and other drawing materials for the examination. Drawing sheets will however be provided in the examination hall.
Ans. Carrying mobile phones, calculators and electronic devices is strictly prohibited in the examination hall.The sheets if required will be provided to the candidate in the examination hall. They should not carry any kind of paper other than admit card and identity proof. The candidates have to write their name and roll number on each sheet and submit to the invigilator before leaving the examination hall. All means of communication inside the examination hall are strictly prohibited. Candidate should not try to harm the computer or any hardware or facilities provided inside the examination hall. If someone is found doing so, his/her candidature will be cancelled and legal action will be taken against the same.
Ans. In case you are in possession of prohibited materials within the testing premises, it will categorised as cheating. The penalty for the same is disqualification from D-ART, notification to universities, cancellation of scores or forfeiture of payment.
